Hometown: West Haven, CT
Instrument: Keyboards
Playing Experience: I've been playing one instrument or another
since the fourth grade. It started with the clarinet in elementary
school, then the drums for a while. In high school I moved on to
saxophone and finally the piano ( we always had an old upright
piano in the house. ) My parents, especially my mom, wanted their
kids to give music a try. Now, I can't imagine living without playing
music in some fashion. In college I minored in music while studying
jazz improv, classical, blues, and modern theory. I was fortunate to
sit in with the Boston Pops Jazz Ensemble a few times ( lots of fun ! )
Over the last 15 or so years, I've been in a few bands playing
different spots in the Northeast. Most recently with the Road Sodas
and my boys K. Votto, Heff Daddy, and Flick. Playing with Out Cold
has been a great experience with lots more to come.
